Breaking Manchester United news : massive deal ‘almost complete’

Well after dragging the collective heels for most of January Manchester United’s window has exploded into life with the media, even our most revered sources like The Guardian and The BBC, suggesting that a deal for Juan Mata to come to United is in the offing.

The latest reports go as far as to say that negotiations are well under way and that a deal should be done this week.

The Guardian says this morn:

Chelsea and Manchester United have provisionally agreed a £40m fee for Juan Mata, though the champions are yet to make a formal bid and any deal to take the 25-year-old to Old Trafford remains dependent on him personally informing José Mourinho of his desire to move.

Negotiations between officials from the two clubs are at an advanced stage, with the transfer said to be “almost complete” by sources close to the discussions.

Mancester United fans will take the report with a pinch of salt after so many false dawns on the player acquisition front.

But if a deal does get done Manchester United fans will being to once more enjoy a big spring in their step because they know about the rare quality of this lad.

This whole idea of Manchester United not having a natural spot to play Mata in is ridiculous. He could play in the attacking midfield role behind both Rooney and RvP with his eyes closed. He may prefer the number ten role but players of this level can do several jobs. Mata can indeed play in the hole. He could also play on the left of a narrow 3 in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 formation. But we think that he could do the Scholes job perfectly.

Ultimately Mata just wants to play football. And Manchester United fans will absolutely worship him because he plays football in a manner which befits the tradition of the club. Jaw-dropping, buccaneering, fast-paced football.

We are expecting more news on this one throughout the day.

Hey Abednego, cool ur sef and stop talking without maturity. Hw many years did Arsenal stay without a trophy? Manchester United will play in the Champions League next season. Be optimistic

  4. Kester says:

Moyes is lacking so many things,i doubt if this man can build man united again.he’ve distroy man united, distroy all the record that man united’ve kept for so long.do man united really need mata?when we’ve kagawa as creating mildfielder also, pls think of this.man united’re lacking creating mildfielder not attacking mildfielder.united’re lacking of good attacker that can help rooney and van persie not welbeck.and two good deffender.in real fact moyes thosen’t have the capacity to coach united even no matter how many years he spent,he lack so many things e.g motivation of players, deffending character,he those even know what to do on pitch and the right player to buy

  5. Beako Godfrey says:

Indeed, moyes lacks the visionary capability to handle MU, the continues fielding of Good-4-Nothing players such as Valencia(Archaic winger),Ashley Young(Hunch backed),Tom Cleverley(Shy child),Jonny Evans(Errorist),Patrice Evra(Oldies) to mention but a very few are becoming so alarming and sickening. Week in week out these players cont. to display gross ineptitutde yet noticed by the Confused so called “The chosen one” . Somebody should pls influx some talented players before “The chosen one” will take us to relegation. I’m having a feeling he is an ally sent to disgrace us for all the dominance enjoyed o’er the years. Think about this dear fellas.
