Man U

Best players that van Gaal could bring with him to Manchester United?

Who could van Gaal persuade to join United?

Louis van Gaal is the favourite with many bookmakers to become the next Manchester United manager and he may just have the best contact list of all the contenders for the job.

Having managed Bayern Munich, Barcelona twice and the Dutch national side twice you would imagine that he would have a vast array of connections from which he could make some big signings for Manchester United this summer.

Kevin Strootman – one of the rising stars in Dutch football is currently plying his trade in Rome but he was linked strongly with Manchester United before he joined Roma last summer. He is a real stellar box to box midfielder and someone who could certainly add that much needed presence to the Manchester United midfield once more.

Arjen Robben – No spring chicken any more at 30 but is easily the best player in the Munich side. He seems to cut Manchester United to ribbons every time he plays them and is a truly world-class player. He may fancy a change of scenery for the last few years of his pomp and he would be a superb short to medium term addition. van Gaal brought him to Munich in the first place.

Wesley Sneijder – another who is close to 30 but is finding some of the best form of his career and could be an excellent quick fix and add some dynamism and goals to Manchester United’s midfield.

Apart from Kevin Strootman not interested in the other two 30 year old’s. I wish United somehow manage to get Klopp to change his mind and join Man United, the players he might get would be a dream. For example Reus and Hummels!
