Arsenal set to complete their first major summer transfer after beating their rivals to brilliant forward for a bargain price according to reports

Brilliant youngster

Reports on Thursday afternoon suggested that Arsenal are on the brink of making Alvaro Morata their first major summer signing after agreeing a rather complicated £8m deal with Real Madrid. The Express says:

ARSENAL will beat Tottenham and Manchester United to the signing of Alvaro Morata after agreeing a buy-back clause in a deal with Real Madrid.

Reports in Spain suggest that the Gunners will pay just £8m to land Morata but Real will retain the right to buy the player back anytime during the next two seasons.

Whilst it gives Arsenal slightly more certainty than a loan move, Real will monitor the situation closely after admitting Morata needs more playing time at the top level to reach his potential.

Arsenal apparently re-ignited their interest in the player as Marca yesterday revealed that Morata is planning to move to The Premier League this summer.

The brilliant youngster hasn’t found the requisites game time at his current club due to the form of and profile of Karim Benzema.

But as well as being quick and highly technical he’s a robust player who looks as if he could handle the rigours of The Premier League.

Arsenal need at least two new strikers this summer and Morata would patently would be an excellent and hungry young addition.

Real Madrid have reportedly asked for a buyback clause in any contract, giving them the option to take him back in the first two years, but Arsneal could certainly use the services of this lad even if that were the case.

Let’s take a look at the lad in action. Arsenal fans is this guy right for the club or do you need someone who’s already more established in the game?

Honestly there is need for a well established forward at Arsenal fc who will not only provide back up to Olivier Giroud but offer a very steep competetion if Arsenal is to do better than last season. Morata is good but not for this coming season.

we still need another striker,so we can bring in more established player like llorente or hulk has been mentiend,id like griezmann for the wing(left)and walcott(right)to fire the ball across for giroud or morata, and with a midfield of ozil cazola and wilshere in the forward line with ramsey and flamini/barry sitting mid in front of aurier-koscielny-mertesacker and gibbs and szczesny in goal with subs,,ruddy-lescot-williams-arteta-oxlade-chamberlain-rosicky-podolski-giroud this look ok to me!

Wenger is wrong because he is underminding podolski, why go for a young lad and u leave experienced podolski on bench, which means even if he buys another striker he will not use them,he will giroud.

Arsene please sign Cavani. You have between 100-150 million to spend. Bring Cavani, Aurier, Bender and Griezmann/di Maria. Stop playing games with us.
