Dream Solution: Arsenal have bid €30M for Majestic International according to report

Khedira - Free agent

Top player

Arsenal need a defensive midfielder. They have done for years. And the sooner Arsene Wenger gets this area sorted the sooner we can start talking seriously about Arsenal winning major titles on a regular basis again.

Reports on Thursday suggest that they may well have a very good one lined up and that the club has made a bid for the player. The Metro states:

Arsenal have made a £23.8million (€30million) offer for Real Madrid star Sami Khedira and are confident it will be enough to sign him, according to reports in Spain.

The El Mundo Deportivo newspaper says the Gunners submitted the offer on Wednesday night amid suggestions that he has told friends he wants out of Madrid this summer.

Madrid are yet to accept or reject the bid…

With Toni Kroos potentially coming into Real Madrid this summer it seems likely that Khedira will have to make way and Arsenal could be the lucky recipients.

Because, despite a long term injury which kept him out of the game for nearly a year, Khedira’s form at The World Cup has proven that he has lost none of his competitive instinct or ability to take a game by the scruff of the neck.

The 27 year old has played 49 times for Germany, scoring 4 times, and turned out 144 times for Real Madrid in all competitions, netting 9 goals.

But it’s not his goal return that makes him such a perfect solution for Arsenal. It’s his disciplined and selfless work in the midfield which would make Arsenal so much tougher to beat next season.

We think that he would be the ideal man to come in and take Arsenal to the next level. Let’s see him in action.

Arsenal fans: would this be a perfect signing, considering the club’s needs?
