Arsenal favourites to sign Premier League powerhouse

Surely worth a shout

The transfer market must be much more complicated than what we understand it to be, because Arsenal never seem to get things done quickly!

But it is widely agreed that Arsenal need to buy a centre back, a right back, a holding midfielder and a couple of strikers. Whether or not they get all this business done this summer, bringing in 5 players for those positions would represent the perfect window.

Arsenal could, of course, kill two birds with one stone in the defensive department as Michael Richards is arguably available and would be a super signing for the club.

His career has really nosedived over the last few years after being hyped as a future great in his youth. But we aren’t interested in him not being selected for The World Cup. We still think that there is a great player in there somewhere, desperate to get out.

When you look at the physique and the qualities of the man you see someone who is potentially perfect for The Premier League.

He’s powerful, quick, has good feet and real athleticism. The fact that he can play in centre back or at right back is an added attraction of the player.

Perhaps there has been some movement behind the scenes on this one because Skybet now have Arsenal as favourites to sign the player, if he does leave Manchester City this summer, at odds of 6/4.

Whatever you think of Arsene Wenger it’s hard to disagree with the notion that he’s an excellent coach of players. We think that he could bring the best out of Richards at Arsenal.

At just 25 he could prove to be an absolute bargain.

Let’s see some highlights. Arsenal fans: keen?

Another injury prone player? How many times did he played for Man City last season?

Richard would be a good signing in addition to Aurier, Janmaat, or Ivanovic, but not as the primary replacement for Sagna. As Ogah Jerry noted; another injury prone player is not what Arsenal need.

We don’t need him, the guy from ivory coast should be a perfect signing. Wenger is delaying all his targets to leave other clubs snap up these guys.

Serge Aurier is the name of the right full back Gab, it’s not that complicated. As for Wenger and his transfer business, it takes far to long to to get deals done. It as if Wenger delibarately wants to make things harder than they nedd to be. Wenger’s policy in relation to signing players, has undermind the progress of the Arsenal team. I understand Arsenal FC wanted to pay for the stadium, which hindered the amoint of money they could spend on players over the seasons however, Wenger could of bought the right type of player rather than the expensive player.

I think wenget always made me dream and never been actual.no world class players he can’t sign.Giroud not enough for title challenge.but he always trust him.there is no other choice for his position.we always hope in our favourite arsenal team with good player.the boards say 100 m transfer budget.but no player income.Vela is now with new contract.mario is denied by wenger.what player he buy.he made me fool.we love arsenal but the class is always in 4th position.we are champion.sagna can’t help attacking in last few years.but he always use him.I can’t understand his idea.but giroud and sagna are french players.so he always use them.I think he should change his mind
