Another World Class star prefers Arsenal – report

Superstar alert

It seems there is an almighty transfer tussle going on for the services of Barcelona winger Alexis Sanchez this summer.

The Chile star has had some standout performances at The World Cup to simply confirm what everybody knew about the quality of the player.

Despite scoring 21 goals for Barcelona last season there has been constant speculation that the player will move to The Premier League this summer

And, having spoken about Mario Balotelli’s reported desire to join Arsenal this summer, it seems that there is now another worldie on the list of players who would prefer a move to The Emirates. The Metro reports:

reports have suggested that the Reds could be willing to sell star striker Luis Suarez to Barca in exchange for £50m plus the Chilean.

However, Sport claims that Sanchez would snub Brendan Rodgers’ side in favour of a move to the Gunners if he is let go by Barcelona this summer.

The report also states that the player would be keen to stay at Barcelona this summer. But, with Barcelona looking to make the requisite changes in order to win back La Liga next season, Sanchez could be surplus to requirements at the Spanish club.

Sanchez is one of those modern wingers who can play anywhere across the front line. He offers goals and assists aplenty and, at 25, his next few years will surely be his most productive.

Whatever the future hold for Sanchez we can’t help but think he would noticeably improve Arsenal’s first team straight away.

Let’s take a look at the lad in action. Arsenal fans: should this be your number one summer target?
