Liverpool

A potential Liverpool XI come September

tactics-board1

Strong side

It’s been an incredibly exciting summer for Liverpool fans – but a bittersweet affair also.

Brendan Rodgers looks to be on the rampage in the transfer market but Liverpool have lost their main man Luis Suarez, after ‘bitegate’, which seemed only to hasten his departure.

It’s a really difficult one to take as he has been the life and soul of Liverpool for the last couple of years.

Liverpool do look as if they have bought some really exciting talent, however, and there will obviously be more to come with the Suarez money in the bank.

Brendan Rodgers will possibly go for more width, at times, than last season having signed two players, in Markovic and Lallana, who can do a job on the wings. That said, Lallana may end up regularly playing through the middle as he’s not best known for his pace. We’d have Sterling out wide for sure.

In the midfield, Emre Can has really set tongues wagging with a super, albeit brief, first appearance for Liverpool. But we think that Gerrard and Henderson will start the season in a ‘2’ in front of the defence.

If Alberto Moreno does make the move and Dejan Lovren completes his transfer then the defence will look a lot more solid. But we do hope that Jon Flanagan gets a game rather than seeing his brilliant start begin to stutter. We are putting him on the right instead of Glen Johnson, who looks tired. And we certainly wouldn’t discount Liverpool bringing in another right-back either – Micah Richards anyone?

So here’s the team that Liverpool could start with – based on players who have signed and the ones who look like the most serious targets.

Liverpool fans: let’s have your thoughts.

Liverpool (4-2-3-1): Mignolet, Moreno, Skrtel, Lovren, Flanagan – Gerrard, Henderson – Lallana, Coutinho, Sterling – Sturridge

The front six consists of the same players bar Suarez, whose been replaced with Lallana. Lfc is stronger if Lallana can score more than 31 goals this season.

what about Lazar Markovic could we see him start on the bench? i love see him play along side sterling and Lallana and Sturridge in a 4:3:3 formation with Coutinho, Gerrard and Henderson in the central position then Flanagan, Skartel,Lovren and Moreno in defense.

I this is not the starting line up I would want to see. I would love to see Vidal or Pogba partner Steven Gerrard and also, with lallana,Disco and Markovic play behind Sturridge

Liverpool will win the tittle if :

Get 1 striker … sure 25 goal score per season ( falcao or Martinez ) every top team are very active at striker. that`s why Barcelona get suarez. Madrid get rodriguez.. Please BR.. if this season not get a tittle with top prolific scocer.. its mean the team must look the workrate. Whay cannot get 1striker with euro experience.. please..please..please… we are miss with sanchez..

now we have 4 centeral defender ( skertel , agger , coates and shako ) and another powerman will come are Illori and maybe lovren. That’s allright but at right back/winger we have Kelly and wisdom , at left we have Enrique and maybe Moreno but at there we have Flano and johnson ( multiused player ).. at defensive mid we have gerrard , can and Hendo ( Sell Lucas ) and midfield we have latino ,british and Europe player. But the problem I see at strike force…. too low and not hunted..
