A MUST BUY – Arsenal linked to another massive bid

Arsenal have and a tough week one way or another. The team that seems set to a default mode of ‘flatter to deceive’ lost a big match in the week to render their European challenge lame.

But, we have to say that lady luck was not with Arsenal on Wednesday. The missed penalty. The sending off. The odds were stacked against The Gunners from the end of the first half.

But things could be much worse. You could be Man United! Arsenal fans must surely want the title above all and now the team can focus on this and a good punt at the cup.

But Arsenal do still need to strengthen. You wouldn’t immediately chose midfielders for that process as Arsenal are blessed in that area. Nevertheless, if Arsene Wenger is sticking to the policy of signing the best when available, regardless of position, then this story makes sense.

The Metro today suggests that Real Madrid’s benched star Isco could be the subject of a £30m summer bid from The Gunners.

Arsenal are reportedly considering making a £30million summer bid for Spain sensation Isco – amid reports that he has become unsettled at Real Madrid.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has previously made no secret of his interest in the play-maker, who moved to Madrid from Malaga at the end of last season.

And after reports emerged this week that he has reportedly become fed up with life at the Bernabeu, Arsenal are said to be working on an offer of about £30million.

This guy is a sensation – the real deal. But, after a goalscoring spree at the start of his Real Madrid career, Isco was inexplicably dropped by Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti and he hasn’t played as much as he would have liked.

A player of this quality won’t sit on the bench for long. Arsenal should make a bid regardless of availabilty because Isco will be runnin tings for a top team within two years. 8 goals and 6 assists in Spain this season, without a consistent run in the team, tells you all you need to know about this burgeoning talent.

Let’s see the lad in action. Arsenal fans – could you squeeze in another midfielder?
