Man U

A Manchester United XI – with the 5 new mooted signings

Mata - The Enigma

What a team

You would need a crystal ball to know exactly what transfers Manchester United will complete this summer.

Even the big man, LVG, probably doesn’t know exactly which deals will come off before September 2.

But latest reports have linked Manchester United with at least five more super signings this summer.

Manchester United could be competition with Barcelona for three of them so there is absolutely no guarantee that they will all be snared.

And United fans will hope that the new manager’s obvious ties with the Holland squad, plus his general attractiveness as a manager, will put United in pole position for several of these major signings.

The defence could be well be complimented by Stefan de Vrij, Daley Blind and Mats Hummels, with Thomas Vermaelen another potential recruit.

There is also talk of speed demon Juan Cuadrado and the sensational goalscoring midfield general Arturo Vidal gracing the engine room.

The great thing about Cuadrado is that he can play as a right-wing back or a winger so he can adapt to whichever formation Louis van Gaal fancies at the time.

With Cuadrado on one side and Luke Shaw on the other Manchester United will have fantastic mobility on the flanks again.

And we think that Vidal is a must buy because he would add so much competitive instinct to a midfield which is sorely lacking dynamism and the warrior instinct.

So if the best of these purchases are made we think Manchester United could line up like this next season – a blinding array of skill, pace, power and the unpredictable – plus the usual suspects up top to gobble up all those chances.

United fans, let us know your thoughts.

Manchester United (3-5-2): De Gea, Shaw, Jones, Hummels, De Vrij, Cuadrado, Herrera, Vidal, Mata, Rooney, RvP

Subs: Blind, Welbeck ,Kagawa ,Januzaj, Valencia, Rafael, Evans

These is awesome and fabulous lineup. But where did you leave Jony Evans which sound to be more promising than Jones and Smalling?

you and i are the only #mufc fan who’ll admit that. rooney, kagawa and hernandez are very much well underappreciated at the club

Rooney under appreciated? He’s the highest paid player in English football!!!! Rooney needs to step up this season though.
Hernandez, yes I agree he is undervalued. Mata has performed better than Kagawa.
Sell bebe, nani, cleverley, fletcher, Fellaini, and possibly zaha (for his attitude alone)

Man united manager should try all his possible to bring in the like of angel di maria or arjen robben to the wing, this are very fast wingers and attacker that can do all things to confuse opponent players and defenders,i prefer them to cuadrado.with this at man united we can able to challenge title this season and back to top four next season.

Personally I love this potential line-up. Well balanced, good defence, great midfield and a proven attacking front two. With the subs it also offers tactical variability to a standard 4 4 2, or even 5 3 2 and 4 5 1. Next season would be pretty much the same, with perhaps better cover for an aging RVP. Obviously this depends on getting all the targets and also the team gelling but definitely exciting times.

I must say as a united fan am totally dissapointed, evra, vidic, ferdinand, burtner all gone yet no good defender has been replaced…the club is only telling us that it will spend big when? and who will come? we don’ want this last minute thing where the club will pick any player in despareration, hummels is available yet no good progress is being made am not happy..better quit the vidal persuit and attend to the deffence proble first coz i see with the deffence of inexperienced players like smalling, evans rafael we could go trophiless again or even out of the champions league spot..
