Many Arsenal fans would have been looking beyond December 25th for their ideal Christmas present. Because they have been crying out for a top anchor man for years and may just get on in January.

We have speculated over the last few months about a variety of big names coming to Arsenal but one who was been less often mentioned could be close to a move to The Emirates in January. The Express reports:

Arsenal close in on Suarez (not that one) as Arsene Wenger eyes spending spree

ARSENAL are edging closer to the signing of Atletico Madrid midfielder Mario Suarez.

Mario Suárez Mata, the 27 year old defensive midfielder, rose through the ranks at Atletico Madrid before moving to Mallorca, after a couple of loan spells, in 2008. But after a couple of years he came back to Madrid and has really blossomed in his second spell at the club.

Since 2010 he’s played 144 games for Madrid scoring thrice. Mata is a real pass master who works hard and keeps things ticking in the midfield. His quality in the engine room has elevated him to the Spain international side, for whom he has played twice since his debut in 2013.

He may not be top of the wanted list for many an Arsenal fan but we think he’s just the sort of player that they need.

Let’s see the lad in action. Arsenal fans: is this guy the answer or would you rather sign a player with more Premier League experience?

wenger must not sell lukas podolski but instead he has to give more playing time for the German player to play in his position in order not to lose his form, and also in my opinion wenger should and Gareth bale should also be on the rader for the transfer line up for ARSENAL

wenger must not sell podolski. this is because they would be having poor striking force since injuries will also be on the verge in the mid of the second leg of the premierleague

I think Arsenals problem is one defence player and one defence midfielder .if I can say they need two midfielder and one defender replace per m.not kosieclny he is very best .and Wenger is sacked for the club .because he is very tired.

With my little knowledge and opinion, think wenger should buy more accurate players he think can serve well.
