Chelsea now odds on favourites to sign a genius

Chelsea have done some superb deals this summer – arguably the best of all The Premier League sides.

But one still feels that, after such a disappointing end to last season, Jose Mourinho and Chelsea have at least one more ace card up their sleeve with regards summer transfers. Perhaps there are two major signings still to come.

Having shifted Juan Mata and David Luiz for a combined £90 million there is certainly money in the bank, even after the signings of Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas and the potential arrival of Filipe Luis.

Despite the fact that Chelsea arguably need strikers more than anything, rumours persist that they’re keen on Paul Pogba of Juventus.

The odds have kept coming in on this potential signing over the last couple of months – Pogba fuelled the speculation after being photographed choosing himself in the Chelsea side for a computer management game – and The Blues are now odds on favourites with SkyBet to sign the player this summer, at 4/7, if does move from Italian club Juventus.

We think that, despite the huge transfer fees that have been mooted for his signature, a deal could be on.

You would expect that, with the signing of Fabregas complete, Pogba would have to play in the defensive midfield area of the 4-2-3-1 formation that Mourinho seems to stick to.

Pogba can do anything on the park. He’s a dynamic holding player who can tackle, has a great range of passing, and simply loves to get forward – as we know he’s got a super shot on him and can score from anywhere.

With Pogba added to the Chelsea side you can’t imagine them being beaten by too many teams next season.

Let’s see the young man in action. Chelsea fans: is Pogba a feasible addition this summer?

Yep….Messi is coming too, along with Cavani and Khedira. James Rodriguez could be on the way as well as Cuadrado.

Im just waiting for the Hulk transfer that always gets thrown up.
Id really like another striker tho and maybe Khedira or Pogba. We could afford to get rid of a couple midfielders Salah as hes back to serve his country/Marin/Moses/Obi. Torres has let us down – how many chances can we give the lad? Maybe keep Lukaku to see just how much he wants a place But hes very young and not sure hes got the experience we need YET.. We also have some young ones we should give some 1st team time too.
