Liverpool have been one of the busiest English clubs in the transfer market so far this summer.
Perhaps Brendan Rodgers new before ‘Bitegate’ that Liverpool would be offloading Luis Suarez this summer – because he’s been spending very liberally.
And it looks as if he’s bought some really good players for Liverpool in the shape of Emre Can, Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana.
Reports today suggest that Liverpool have agreed yet another deal to bring the brilliant youngster Divock Origi to the club. The Star says:
Liverpool AGREE £10m deal to sign teen sensation Divock Origi
The Reds will discuss personal terms with Origi this week and will pay a fee that could reach £10m, according to reports.
The BBC reports:
Liverpool have agreed a deal with Lille for Belgium striker Divock Origi
Liverpool fans will have had a really good look at Origi for Belgium over their last two games as he started both.
And Liverpool will be pleased to get this one done quickly because he really does look the business. A just 19 he’s already got great composure to add to his natural attributes of power and pace. His composed and mature performances in Brazil nut have got other clubs interested.
He’s also got great feet and we just wonder whether Liverpool will try to do a deal to bring the player straight to the club because they could certainly use his services – especially if Suarez does leave for Barcelona. We think that Origi could do serious damage in The Premier League straight away.
Let’s see some of his highlights. Liverpool fans: should Origi come straight to Liverpool or does he need a season on loan to gain more experience before pushing for a starting place at Anfield?

Hope they leave him at Lille and check on him in about ten years. Might have scored about a dozen goals by then. What a waste of cash.
