Crowd Pleaser

Reports today suggest that Newcastle may be about to make an offer for flying Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie.

The Palace winger sometimes lacks consistency. But when he does do the business he can be frighteningly good from the wider areas.

He’s got genuine pace and a real sense of the unpredictable about him with his nifty footwork and eye for the spectacular. Certainly he is a crowd favourite at his current club.

With Newcastle unsure about the future of wide man Hatem Ben Arfa they may look to add quality in the wide areas and Alan Pardew may believe that he can bring the best out of Bolasie at Newcastle.

The Guardian says:

Newcastle are ready to offer Crystal Palace £2m for the winger Yannick Bolasie

We think that at £2 million he may not turn out to be one of the jewels in the crown of The Premier League but he’s definitely worth a punt. At his best Bolasie can make things happen and change games with a moment of brilliance.

But Newcastle already have a misfiring genius in Hatem Ben Arfa and many may regard Bolasie as a poorer version of the Frenchman.

But with Newcastle seemingly missing out on Bafetimbi Gomis they are in short supply of forwards and this guy may represent another step towards greater firepower.

Let’s have a look at the lad in action. Newcastle fans: keen?

Hello, does anyone know how much a signed Newcastle shirt would be worth, I think it’s from about 2002? Full team…

Ben Arfa was touted as the same type of player and look at him why do we want another one when Pardspew cant cope with HBA?
