Pull your finger out Arsene

Arsenal fans keep getting drip fed small nuggets of information which could suggest that a move for Mario Balotelli is on.

We can’t imagine him not being a real success at the club having played brilliantly where ever he has worked.

He has of course already got experience in England with Manchester City and if Arsene Wenger can control his temperament and get the best out of him then we could be looking at a player who could make all the difference for Arsenal next season – Balotelli can transform Arsenal from pretty boys to scary beasts.

And AC Milan vice-president Barbara Berlusconi has left the door open to a potential move by suggesting that Balotelli is not indispensable to his club. The Daily Mail reports:

‘Balotelli is a great player,’ AC Milan vice-president Barbara Belusconi said on the club’s official website.

‘But the way I see it, I don’t believe that someone can be irreplaceable.

‘We will see what happens.’

The Metro earlier stoked the fires by suggesting that Wenger is planning talks with Balotelli’s reps:

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is set to meet with Mario Balotelli’s agent next week as a move for the AC Milan striker edges closer.

The Gunners are plotting a £27million bid for Balotelli with Wenger desperate to sign a world-class forward this summer.

Wenger seems exceedingly cautious in the market but there is very little not to like about this player so surely he needs to move fast – because, if Super Mario is available, Arsenal won’t be the only team in the market for him.

Let’s see some more Balotelli magic. Arsenal fans: is the number one target?
