Arsenal favourites for powerhouse signing after new rumour

Arsene-Wenger

Finishing touches?

We reported yesterday on two players who are potentially coming to Arsenal this summer.

The Loic Remy transfer is, for us, an incredibly obvious one and Arsenal should get this one in the bag as soon as possible.

And another rumour to surface yesterday was that of brilliant Italian striker Mario Balotelli to The Gunners.

Some would have concerns about signing such a player simply because he’s already played for so many clubs and never seems to settle for long.

But he does offer Arsenal something they don’t currently have much of up top – aggression and raw power.

Of course Olivier Giroud is no shrinking violet. But he doesn’t have the aggression of Balotelli or the sort of pace from a standing start to really trouble opposition defences.

By signing Remy and Balotelli Arsenal would be adding both qualities to their attacking line – brilliant options to have when trying to break down all sorts of different styles of opposition.

With the news that Balotelli might interest Arsenal this summer SkyBet make Arsenal favourites to sign the player at odds of 3/1.

With the finishing ability and touch of Giroud, the pace and direct approach of Remy and Balotelli’s power and aggression Arsenal would be a completely different beast next season. What more could you ask from the front line roster?

Let’s see the brilliant Italian in action.

I think Remy is a very good option, reminds me of Henry in early days.
      Selling Cazorla, are you kidding???
Sell Wilshere, he is no where near Fabregas, should be a no brainer. But he is english and overrated!!!

“welfred”, “Remmy”?, “fabrigas”? (twice!), “carzola”?, “carzorla”?, “atlantico”? – I mean, wow!, seriously? I am speechless!
