5 massive summer signings to make Manchester United dominate

5 stars to thrill

The huge disappointment that Manchester United fans look likely to suffer at the end of the season will be, in some way, compensated by the expected investment in new players over the summer.

While the potential outlay differs massively, depending on your source, it does appear that the purse strings will be loosened to sagging point in an attempt to return Manchester United to the top of the pile next season.

Despite the debt burden, you would imagine that a club run as well as Manchester United would have a substantial amount set aside for a rainy day, after twenty years of domestic dominance. We believe that 5 major signings is pushing the bounds of optimism. But if they did manage to secure these guys then it’s hard to see how Manchester United wouldn’t be competing for all the honours once more.

Luke Shaw – Expect serious competition for his signature as the player improves week on week. He now looks as if he will go to The World Cup and this will push up his value further. So perhaps he will be snapped up before June. Manchester United need midfielders but they should make this guy their number one priority.

Toni Kroos – Left on the bench in the second leg of The Champions League against Arsneal, this Bayern star looks as if he may be tempted by the riches available abroad. Manchester United seem prepared to break the bank for a midfielder who has the lot.

William Carvalho – A more defensive midfielder than Kroos, Carvalho has a similar playing style to Patrick Viera. He breaks things up and passes the ball beautifully. He could be the perfect partner for the more attacking Kroos.

Andros Townsend – Manchester United need more pace. Their lighting speed has ebbed away over the last couple of seasons which has blunted them as a counter attacking force. Townsend would bring the wow factor back to Manchester United.

Lucas Moura – More pace please! Manchester United should ditch Nani, Valencia and Young this summer to restock the wide areas. Moura nearly came to United a couple of years back and has had a mixed reception in Paris. He would be another who could dazzle on the counter.

Andros Townsend – have you lost your mind? The same lad who cant get a game for Spurs? I think we need to be aiming a bit higher than average English wingers. Young hasn’t set the world alight at United. Townsend is like a quicker Young. Not good enough!

Nani still a far much experienced poposition compared. United need quality rather average players who will bank on the performance of others in order to shine! only two of the five players you have mentioned are ManU material.
