Manchester United clear the decks for big names

After 7 superb years at Old Trafford, Park Ji Sung appears to have played his last game for Manchester United. The incredibly industrious South Korean ploughed the wide areas for United during the most successful period in their history but, at 31, he was seldom selected last season and is now deemed surplus to requirements. QPR are reportedly about to tie up a deal for the player who will leave Old Trafford with the very best wishes of the fans. What a great servant he has been to United. I’m sure that he will receive a fantastic eulogy from Sir Alex when the deal becomes official.

Other stories today continue to imply that Anderson is also about to leave United and that Benfica are particularly interested. The Brazilian excelled in his last stint in Portugal, at Porto, but injury and fitness issues have limited his effectiveness and, while he has played brilliantly in patches, he has never been consistent enough to nail down a place in the heart of the midfield.

Both stories seem to carry weight and both stories seem to suggest that Manchester United are clearing the decks for another big midfield signing. Speculation is currently rife and the shortlist seemingly consists of Lucas Moura, Luka Modric, Joao Moutinho and Cheikh Tiote.

With Dimitar Berbatov, Federico Macheda also leaving and Fabio going out on loan, United will surely be doing some big business before too long. The next few weeks promise to be exciting times for Reds fans.

Be great if we sign Lucas. Thank you Park for everything, great player, good luck at QPR. Hope Fabio gain lots of games so come back better, ready to replace Evra. Time to sell Anderson and Berbatov, would be fair value if get atleast 20m for the two. The future looks good, time to take our Title back and win Champs Lge. Hope Tunnicliffe gets chance this year. Roll on 2012-13

It’s just a great long term for sir j s park( i honored you SIR), good luck ahead in QPR. So sir alex ferg i think we don’t need to waste time in going for luka modric & joao moutinho, i pictured that luka modric & joao are superbly fitting man utd midfield along with kagawa and i see progress in that. Excellent signor kagawa, thanks fergie.

Maicon is a free transfer at the moment? Just a thought.
Park was a great player and it’s sad to see him go but we’re
Looking for the next generation for united now so it maybe
The right time if he wants regular football. Would be happy
With Lucas he is an amazing talent, shinji is a great signing
Need to get him speaking the lingo but I don’t think that will be
A problem, not sure what’s happening regarding our youth at the
Moment as there deciding to leave but Powell is another great acquisition
Looking forward to who we will sign and the start of the new EPL
Forever United lots of love park!

This week has been a very emmotional week for me personaly, am yet to recover from the lost of our energetic midfielder(ji sun park). But nevertheless, i trust sir Alex’s judgement. I would want sir alex to make these players a priority signings :j moutinho, lucas Gaitan, cheike tiote, bains, and lewandowski. Up utd my brothers, up utd my friend., cause the noisy neighbours are getting noiser and blues are getting thicker.
